HERITAGE RESTORATION

ARCON has been part of ambitious and high-profile heritage rehabilitation projects, including facilities such as the Steamship Terminal Building in Victoria, the Sinclair Centre in Vancouver, and the St. John Cathedral in Saskatoon. Kendall Jessiman, ARCON’s Founder and President, is a Board Member of Heritage BC and is active in the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals.

Our approach to heritage projects is to delve into the architectural details of the facility, both the original structure and the renewed building. This enables us to devise building envelope solutions that will support the programmatic, functional and aesthetic aspects of the facility. We make sure that the building envelope will add significantly to the building’s lifespan and enhance occupant comfort – without detracting from the building’s aesthetic and heritage value.
